On the side where the front door is located, the kennel has a ventilated panel floor. This provides your dog with a clean and comfortable place to rest. The other side of the kennel is open to the ground below it. For quick and easy cleanup of your dog’s mess, we recommend placing the kennel on a concrete base so that all you have to do is hose it down.

The front of the Log Cabin dog kennel has a large mesh window, which provides lots of air and ventilation. The mesh is made of a thick wire to prevent your dog from chewing through it. The mesh is also covered in hard plastic to avoid rust. This process helps the wood resist mildew, wood rot, and insects. We also coat the wood with several layers of a quality weather- resistant stain to help maintain its overall beauty. All of the wood preservatives we use are animal friendly.
